Background & Studies

Yvette grew up in rural County Kildare and when she was a young child she became aquatinted with the wonders of herbal medicine by a local healer called Mr. Merrins. He introduced her to Calendula and told her how he made a cream with the flowers, this blew her young mind! 18 years later she landed in Australia and stumbled across a course that actually taught about that stuff in college….

Yvette completed a 4 year full time Naturopathy degree in Australia. During her studies she gained experience at a number of clinics and dispensaries. She also went to India to further her Homeopathy studies and attended a postgraduate course at the Bengal Allen College of Homeopathy, Calcutta. Upon completion of her studies in 2005, she was awarded Naturopathy student of the year by Phytomedicine & ACNT. Since graduating she has continued her studies with some excellent teachers all over the world (Matthew Wood, Julia Graves, Subrata Banerjea, Rajan Sankaran, Jan Scholten and Dinesh Chauhan). She continues to update and upgrade her skills annually. Yvette is available in the Satmya herbal dispensary & clinic from Monday to Friday.
