Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a sophisticated and gentle system of medicine that works by supporting your body’s natural healing response. Rather than focusing only on a diagnosis, homeopathy looks at the unique way each individual experiences their symptoms.

At Satmya, homeopathy is an important part of our naturopathic approach and is prescribed following detailed individual assessment.

Homeopathy forms an important part of Yvette’s clinical work. This sophisticated system of medicine has been used worldwide for over 200 years and focuses on stimulating the body’s own healing response.

Yvette’s training included clinical observation and study in India, where homeopathy remains deeply integrated into mainstream healthcare and is practiced in busy clinical settings. This experience provided exposure to traditional prescribing methods, complex case management, and the practical application of homeopathy within large patient communities.

This international clinical perspective informs her careful, individualised prescribing style today.

Like Cures Like or from Ayurveda “Shruyate hi pura loke, vishasya visham aushadham”. Translated this reads: “it has been said of old time in the world that poison is the remedy for poison.” This concept is not exclusive to Homeopathy. Ancient Ayurvedic texts also echo a similar idea:
“Shruyate hi pura loke, vishasya visham aushadham,” which translates to,
“It has been said since ancient times that poison is the remedy for poison.”
This illustrates a cross-cultural recognition of the principle behind using similar agents for healing.

Homeopathy may be used to support:

• Stress and emotional health
• Chronic and recurring conditions
• Immune resilience
• Digestive health
• Skin conditions
• Hormonal balance
• Sleep difficulties

Remedies are selected based not just on symptoms, but on the unique way your body expresses imbalance.
