Course Overview

This comprehensive Diploma in Ayurvedic Therapies is designed to train students in the principles and application of traditional Ayurvedic bodywork and treatments. Drawing on classical Ayurvedic knowledge, including Marma point therapy and the use of herbal oils and ingredients, students will learn to perform ten core Ayurvedic therapies with confidence and professionalism.

Therapies Covered

Students will be trained in the following Ayurvedic treatments:

  • Abhyanga – Ayurvedic Full Body Massage
  • Kati Basti – Lower Back Treatment
  • Karana Purana – Ear Treatment with Warm Oil
  • Nabhi Vijnanam – Navel Pulse Correction
  • Nasya – Nasal Therapy with Medicated Oils
  • Mukha Abhyanga – Ayurvedic Face Massage
  • Shiro-Pad Abhyanga – Ayurvedic Foot Massage
  • Shiro Abhyanga – Indian Head Massage
  • Shirodhara – Continuous Oil Pouring on the Forehead
  • Ubtan – Ayurvedic Facial using Organic Herbs

Qualification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Diploma in Ayurvedic Therapies, enabling them to:

  • Apply for indemnity insurance
  • Practice as certified Ayurvedic Therapists

Course Delivery

  • On-site lectures & practical demonstrations
  • Course notes, handouts, and student workbooks

Assessment

Students will be examined through written, practical, and oral assessments at the end of the course. A minimum of 65% is required to pass each module.

Entry Requirements

  • Written and verbal fluency in English
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Completion of ITEC Level 3 or QQI Level 5 in Anatomy & Physiology

Course Fees

  • Standard Fee: €2800
  • Registration/Deposit: €500 (non-refundable unless the course does not commence)
  • Early bird €2400 before May 31st 2026

Note: A non-refundable registration fee is required to secure a place. In the event the course is cancelled, this fee will be refunded in full.
