Our cabins are available to students at a reduced rate for student weekends. 

Our hand-built straw cabins offer a truly unique and luxurious experience. Thoughtfully designed with natural materials and soulful touches to provide a warm, nourishing, and restorative stay immersed in nature. Deepen your relaxation by indulging in a wood fired sauna or hot tub, gather around a crackling campfire, and explore scenic footpaths right from your doorstep. .

The cabins are just five minutes from Feakle, a traditional village in East Clare and within easy reach of Lough Derg, the Burren, and other County Clare landmarks, this is where comfort meets wild beauty.

The Cabins

Our two luxury cabins are perched on an expansive hill offering breathtaking panoramic views over the rolling countryside of East Clare. From sunrise to sunset, the ever-changing light dances across the landscape, creating a magical and ever-shifting backdrop. This peaceful setting offers the perfect blend of seclusion and comfort—an ideal place to immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the Irish countryside

Our cabins are available year-round, offering a warm and comfortable retreat in every season. Thoughtfully designed with natural insulation and underfloor heating, they stay warm and welcoming—even in the heart of winter. Each cabin is en-suite and fully self-catering.

What you will find in your cabin

Our cabins are fitted out with both nature and luxury in mind. We use a blend of natural materials and sustainable products to keep you warm and comfortable during your stay.

King sized bed– with a natural (cotton/wool) filled pocket sprung mattress; hypoallergenic duvets; 100% cotton sheets & duvet covers and Foxford woolen blankets.

Our spacious bunk beds are custom made and designed to ensure adequate head room for maximum comfort. They are suitable for both adults and children. Each bunk bed has a pocket sprung mattress, hypoallergenic duvets and pillows and 100% cotton bed linen.

Fully equipped kitchenette & dining area with hot plate, electric fridge, kettle & toaster. The kitchen is stocked with organic ingredients like ghee, spices, Himalayan rock salt, jaggery (Ayurvedic sugar), herbal teas and organic coffee.

Each cabin has a bathroom that is fully equipped with a shower, toilet and wash basin. Towels, and natural toiletries are provided. Robes are available on request.

We only use natural products

At Satmya we value nature and ensure all the cleaning products that we use are safe for the environment, for our guests and our staff.

• All our bed linen is washed with natural laundry detergents.
• We only use natural cleaning products in the cabins
• We provide eco friendly soap (Dr Bronners castille soap), Faith in nature shampoo & conditioner and True nature dish washing liquid.
