About Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness. Utilizing the techniques of pranayama, kriya, mantra and meditation we practice with eyes closed to develop our sense of awareness of what is going on in the inside, the emphasis is less on perfect posture and more on the growth of the individual. There is no assistance into posture in Kundalini; the kriyas are a set of postures mostly in motion where you work at your own pace and within your capabilities to strengthen your body and mental resolve.
Kundalini Yoga relaxes, nourishes and heals the mind, body and spirit. This powerful and effective form of Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D., Master of Kundalini Yoga, is a great way to recharge and heal your body and mind quickly.
Kundalini Yoga stimulates the nervous and immune systems, improves strength and flexibility, offers peace of mind and enriches the spirit. It also aids with back pain, stress, addiction, depression and insomnia, as well as weight control. Everyone can do it! Kundalini Yoga cultivates well-being and happiness.
