Join us for our Autumn Retreat to Cleanse & Restore your body & mind. This weekend retreat is all about detoxification based on the Ayurvedic and Yogic systems. As part of this retreat there will also be Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Ayurvedic Talks, Pranayama &  Meditation. The food provided will be tasty but cleansing in nature and will help to support your body through your weekend cleanses.

17:30 – Introductory chat, get your Ayurvedic cleanse pack

18:00 – Yoga and Meditation class (60 mins)

19:00– Traditional Ayurvedic Kicharee with homemade chutneys & pickles


6:30 – Early morning Meditation

7:00 – Self Care – including self massage, tongue scraping & oil pulling

7:30 – Energising Yoga Class

8:30 – First Cleanse – Jala Neti

9:15 – Breakfast – a light Pitta pacifying breakfast

11:00 – Ayurveda Lecture – Intro, Doshas, Digestion and Detoxification

13.00 – Lunch – the biggest meal of the day with lots of homemade healthy vegetarian delights followed by delicious healthy dessert

15.00 – Ayurveda Lecture – Ayurvedic Nutrition & Seasonal Regimen

17:00– Restorative Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation

19:00 – Dinner – Traditional Ayurvedic Kicharee with homemade chutneys & pickles

8:30 – Second Cleanse – Kunjala

11:00 – Step by step guide on how to do a 7 day Ayurvedic home cleanse

Doug Hyde Ayurvedic Practitioner & Teacher Ireland

 Doug Hyde B.A (Biology), Adv. Dip Ayurveda

Doug will be teaching Meditation & Ayurveda at the retreat.

Doug is passionate about teaching people how to transform their health & lives through Ayurveda. He has been working as an Ayurvedic practitioner & teacher for over 10 years. He feels that everyone can benefit from this ancient tradition.

Julie Hyde RYT 200

Julie will be teaching you Hatha & Restorative Yoga during this retreat.

Julie is the Hatha Yoga teacher in Satmya. She was introduced to Yoga in her teens and developed a deep respect for this practice over the years.  She completed a diploma in Hatha Yoga Teacher Training under Roy Griffin in YTTC Dublin. She has also completed Restorative & Sports Yoga training.

Julie is also a qualified Ayurvedic Therapist and Lifestyle Consultant.

How to get to The Cliffs of Moher Retreat Centre


We are 7kms from Lahinch driving straight out on the road to the Cliffs of Moher. As you enter Lahinch follow the signs for the Cliffs of Moher and Liscannor (it’s a right turn before you come into the main street of the village).
Drive along that road, with the golf course on your left. After 4 kms you will reach Liscannor village, keep driving through it. After another 3kms there will be a left turn, just before The Rock Shop on your right. Take this left turn. After 200 metres you will reach a crossroads, take the right at the crossroads (it’s the first right turn). We are the third property on the left, you will drive up a long driveway and we will be waiting for you there!


Our closest train station is Ennis and there are trains to here from all over the country. Bus Eireann run a bus service from the train station to Lahinch and sometimes Liscannor (close to us) but it only runs a few times a day. It is more frequent in summer than winter. Check their website for details. Dublin Coach has a great service from Dublin to Ennis (from the City Centre, Dublin Airport The Red Cow). The buses are very frequent. If you are getting a bus into Lahinch or into Liscannor, we can arrange a taxi for you. You can also take a taxi from Ennis to Liscannor. The taxi driver we recommend is Tom Dowling. He regularly does airport and Ennis runs for us. His number is +353868346450


Shannon is our closest airport. We can put you in touch with a taxi company who will offer competitive rates from Shannon to our centre compared to picking up a taxi at the airport.
